As independent consultants, we are fortunate to not be contracted to a particular brand or company. This gives us an advantage and flexiabliltiy in the design process as we can tailor every light fixture we choose to any space, budget and style.

Our Process
Lighting and Electrical Questionnaire
Prior to meeting with our Client, we will send a questionnaire that enables us to understand the whole project including construction basics to ideal lighting concept and light fitting styles and placement.
Initial Consultation
We review your architectural plans and questionnaire feedback and together we explore how lighting can enhance the unique spaces and design features of the space, while considering budget, timeframe, buildability and automation. This can be in our office looking over plans for a new build, or on-site walking through the existing project.
Preliminary Concept Lighting Plan, Electrical Plan, and Lighting Options
We prepare a Preliminary Concept based on the questionnaire and discussions held at the initial consultation. We will send you draft Lighting and Electrical Plans and a Concept Lighting Design for review and discussion at the Review Meeting.
Meeting to Review Concept Plan
Together we will go through the draft Lighting and Electrical Plans and Concept Lighting Design and make any tweaks required so that the design is perfectly aligned with your vision for your project.
Final Concept Lighting Plan, Electrical Plan, Lighting Options
We finalise the Lighting and Electrical Plans and Lighting Design, so that you have a comprehensive package ready for builders and electricians to utilise and a lighting schedule to assist in procurement of light fittings.
In addition to the above, we offer stand-alone on-site consultations. With our expertise in lighting design and experience in electrical installation, we have the skills to evaluate the existing lighting conditions in real-time, and provide suggestions on lighting direction, or simply the suitability of new a light fitting. We work on projects of all scale, no job is too small or too large, and we always welcome a challenge.
